Cath has been producing screen content in Western Australia for more than a decade.
Cath has travelled Australia and the world working in production of three seasons of the SBS hit series ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and for the BBC on five seasons of ‘Wanted Down Under’.
In 2009, Cath created and produced ‘Waabiny Time’, a children’s variety program for NITV. This groundbreaking show featured indigenous language for an early childhood audience, and was such a big hit with kids and educators that a second season was commissioned.
Cath went on to Series Produce the ‘One & Only’ documentaries for the ABC, and is currently expanding her slate to include feature film projects.
She has continued production services on projects including ‘The Dreamhouse’ and ‘Desperately Seeking Doctor’ on the ABC, and various sporting programs for Beyond and Channel Nine.
Jules Duncan started out as a journalist and television reporter, first in regional WA and then for 9 News in Perth.
Since 2009 he’s worked in a variety of production and development roles across Australia.
As a writer, Jules has had five screenplays and two TV concepts funded through ScreenWest and Screen Australia. His screenplay ‘Bogan Wedding’ is currently in development with Robyn Kershaw Productions as a US/Australia co-production, and his last screenplay ‘The Big Yarn’ won the Bill Warnock Screenwriting Award.
Jules has a knack for identifying the essence of a story, and an innate sense of how to grab the audience’s attention.
